DUALESC Forced To Scrap FILTER Collaboration
June 2, 2003Portland, Oregon's DUALESC have been forced to scrap their previously announced plans of recording their next CD with FILTER's Richard Patrick at the production helm. "Unfortunately, it looks as if we won't be able to make it down to record with Richard Patrick and [engineer] Rae Dileo after all," the band write on their official web site. "Scheduling complications on their side have made it extremely difficult for them to fit us in for the recording session. So now we'll be recording the 4 songs as planned in Portland the week of June 16th instead. We're working on a CD Release on August 9th at The Meow Meow in Portland with our buds in the bands OUTSET and EVER WE FALL. So get ready for some new DUALESC recordings coming your way soon!"
DUALESC had previously worked with Patrick on their self-titled 2001 EP, which featured a guest appearance by Richard on the track "Belief". The four-song session was eventually combined with six additional cuts to make up the band's debut full-length offering, "Through The Floods, Not With Them".
